Interested in filmmaking, but not sure how to get started?
The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) will host a free 8-hour "crash cinema challenge" from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, at the Renton History Museum.
The event is open to filmmakers of all ages. All participants will incorporate five elements into a 3-minute film, which must be finished by 5 p.m. Filmmakers are required to bring all their own equipment.
At 5 p.m., teams will hand over their films and assemble at the Renton Civic Theatre for a wrap party and screening. The film screening is also free and open to the public.
