Everyone in attendance will receive a ballot and have the opportunity to vote for their favorite film. The most popular film will receive a special Renton FilmFrenzy Screening Curvee Award at the Curvee Awards Gala on Tuesday.

Curvee Awards Gala — 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 25
Curvee Awards for the top films and $1,700 in cash prizes will be awarded during the Gala, which will be held at the Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center, 400 South 2nd Street. Jim Dever of KING 5 TV’s “Evening Magazine,” will be the event emcee. This year Curvee Awards and cash prizes will be presented as follows:

Second Prize $200
Third Prize $150
Student Division

Downtown Renton FilmTalk — 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 26
During the Downtown FilmTalk, Frenzy filmmakers will be on hand to discuss their work and their filmmaking process. A raffle for 2012 SIFF-Renton tickets and gift certificates from downtown Renton businesses will be held for those in attendance. FilmTalk locations include:
