Lowe's Fall Safety Event Offers Fun For The Whole Family On Saturday

Bring the kids to Lowe's of Renton, located at The Landing , for a day of fun, learning and excitement.

Lowe's Fall Safety Fair will feature Renton Firefighters and a few of their engines, City of Renton Utilities trucks and Renton Police officers, all who will be on hand to give safety advice and allow kids to ask questions about their work. Children will also be allowed on the fire engines. Fire, police and utilities crews will be on hand from 10 a.m. to noon.

Inside the store, Lowe's will host a free craft as part of its "Build & Grow" program where kids complete a craft and earn a patch for their achievement.

This week's project is a miniature firetruck. Materials, apron, safety goggles and instruction are included in this free class. Lowe's will have other tools on hand for use during the event, which is open to children and teens of all ages. The class is ongoing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
