Knights of Columbus of Renton

Renton Seniors invited to free St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast sponsored by Knight of Columbus on March 17, 8-11am, at Renton Senior Activity Center.

Seniors whether they’re Irish or not can have the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day by enjoying a free St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast at Renton Senior Activity Center on Saturday, March 17, from 8-11am, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus Councils from St. Anthony and St. Stephen the Martyr Parishes in Renton. The breakfast will feature pancakes, eggs, sausages, fruit and assorted beverages. The annual breakfast cooked and served by Knights of Columbus volunteers and their families seeks to honor seniors for the many ways they contribute to making Renton a great community to live. Last year more than 200 seniors had a delicious breakfast.

This year community businesses have also contributed finances or items to the event including Dan Kellogg, Estate Attorney, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Downtown Safeway, Albertson’s Renton Highlands.

Planning and coordination for this breakfast starts as early as December with cooperation from the City of Renton every year for providing the facilities. A great collaboration of two Knights of Columbus Councils in Renton, community businesses and the City of makes this year’s breakfast possible. We think St. Patrick would be proud!
