Come join two life-long friends, an upbeat Frog and a worrying Toad, as they make their way through a year of adventures along with all their woodland friends. They will plant seeds, swim, play in the leaves, and sled down the hill as they learn life lessons including those about friendship, belonging, and the importance of differences. Based on the beloved children’s books by Arnold Lobel this production is a touching and rollicking adventure for families and children of all ages.
Triple Threat Theatre is a musical theatre program at the HOME Program in the Renton School District. It is made up of a talented group of 8-17 year olds. Many of our current and past casts have been seen in a variety of other local theatre productions including: Renton’s Summer Teen Musical Bye Bye Birdie, Village Theatre’s All Shook Up and Footloose, Seattle Children’s Theatre’s Seussical Jr. and Once on this Island, Hi-liner’s Les Miserables and 5th Avenue Theatre’s Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat and A Christmas Story. This program is funded by the district, the community, and the support of the PAT (parent partnership) team 501 3(c) at the HOME program. This is the program’s eighth year in production. It is dedicated to developing young artists and performers by offering education and training opportunities in the classroom and on stage. Previous productions include: Pirates of Penzance, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Seussical Jr., and Theseus and the Minotaur.
The HOME Program is a K-10 public school and parent partnership program within the Renton School District. This program encourages creativity and individuality while maintaining the highest of academic standards. The school and the family accomplish this goal by working together as an educational team to create and implement individual learning plans for each student.
