Earlier this week, Patch posted about the possible return of "Almost Live" alumni Pat Cashman and John Keister to local television, after teaser trailers of something called "The (206)" emerged on YouTube.
The show became famous for its skewering of Bellevue, Seattle and anything else in the Northwest - including Renton.
Today, Cashman and Keister posted a response on YouTube. Enough said.
According to the SeattlePI.com, Cashman confirmed to KOMO radio earlier this week that he was working on a new show with Keister, but provided no details on who would broadcast the show or whether any other alumni such as Nancy Guppy, Tracey Conway, Bob Nelson, Steve Wilson or Bill Stainton are returning.
Of course, some of the show's regulars have moved on from our misty climes. Joel McHale stars on NBC comedy "Community," and Bill Nye has been a television show host on national TV, including his own PBS show "Bill Nye, The Science Guy."
The video response was posted on a Twitter account for The206.
