Where To Find Spirited Halloween Displays In Renton

Do you decorate your home for the holidays? We want to feature it on Patch!

Halloween is the event that kicks off a six-month run of decoration holidays.

Pumpkins give way to Thanksgiving turkeys, then holiday wreaths, New Years glitz, and heart shapes for . By March, some of the decorating steam has dissipated, but there’s a notable surge in green for St. Patrick’s Day and, finally chicks, bunnies and colored eggs abound for Easter.

Patch wants to share in your love of decorating, so let’s see what you’ve got. Every Friday from now until Halloween, we’ll post the places to see and enjoy decorations around Renton.

This week, our featured location is the home of Kurt Coleman, 2112 SE 20th Ct. in Renton.

Coleman spent about “40-60 man hours” setting up his display, which is controlled by four computers and includes a lightening circuit, three fog machines, animatronics, and more. His neighbors also have an impressive show of decorations, he said.
