Renton Eagles Donate $5K To Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center
Eagles host Shane Hollett of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for a picnic dinner and grant presentation.
The Renton Eagles Aerie and Auxiliary hosted a number of Washington state Eagles officials in November, including State Worthy President, State Madam President and State Chaplain for a visit to their downtown Renton location.
After a picnic dinner Fran Remillard of the Renton Auxiliary presented a $5,000 grant to Shane Hollett of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center for Squamous Cell Carcinoma Research.
Hollett shared the story of the research center with the group. The Fraternal Order of Eagles 1722 have donated more than $200,000 locally toward Cancer Research.
