Starbucks, a Patch.com Partner, Honors Earth Day With Free Brewed Coffee or Tea (Bring Mug)

Renton has eight Starbucks locations. Meet the Patch editor from 7:30-10 a.m. at the Grady Way location, and 2-4 p.m. at the Starbucks inside Target at The Landing.

Starbucks, a Patch.com partner, is honoring Earth Day on Friday by giving away free brewed coffee or tea. The tea can be hot or iced.

People will need to bring in a reusable tumbler or travel mug, according to a post on the company's website. If people do not have a tumbler or travel mug, they can ask for a "for here" cup and Starbucks will pick up the tab.

The company is doing this to help raise awareness about the environment. During last year's promotion, more than 1.2 million people participated, the company said.
