Wednesday

Use the Parks Department’s handy online guide to find a park you haven’t been to. Choose based on amenities or close your eyes and pick one at random!

Thursday

Head somewhere you might visit often or might never have really explored—downtown Renton!  Park in the public lot on the corner of Houser and Wells and wander a block north to the shops on S. 3rd Street.  Happy Delusions offers plenty of fun stuff for kids and adults.  Enjoy a bowl of pho at Pho Hoa for lunch, or some of the fantastic fries at Burger Town.  Don’t forget to stop by to check out their selection of gently used clothes and toys for kids!  Round out your jaunt with a stop by Common Ground for a cup of coffee and a cupcake for a sweet treat, or Yoggi Yogurt for a healthy frozen confection with toppings of your choice.

Friday

For better or for worse, the week’s almost over!  Why not go out with a bang?  The city’s annual Flashlight Egg Hunt for ages 7-15 is being held at 8 p.m. at Liberty Park.  Keep the kiddos up late and let them sleep in on Saturday, with the peace of mind that you’ve all survived a week together.
