Lowe's Safety Fair Offers Children A Look Into Fire, Police, Utility Professions

Renton Fire and Emergency Services, City Utilities Crews and Renton Police Officers were on hand Saturday during the Lowe's Safety Fair.

Lowe's fourth annual Safety Fair drew dozens of families to The Landing in Renton on Saturday, September 22.

While the main focus may have been safety, the event was aimed at demystifying the fire and police professions, said organizer Enza Shaw.

In addition to completing a take-home firetruck project, children explored Renton Fire and Emergency Service rigs and aid cars, climbed into Ladder 11's bucket and spoke with firefighters.
