• Why Go: The Pacific Northwest doesn't see many high-end fashion shows. So if fashion is your thing, you'll definitely want to check out designer Nune Hov's Summer Nights show Saturday night. The event will also feature live music from jazz band Fusion, led by Max Levin, and raffle prizes that include an original art package from modern surrealist Mariam Hovhannisyan.

• Why Go: Go read KB VanHorn's great on garage sales. Now that you've got scoop on garage sale shopping, come put those skills to the test. Locally you'll find the annual Victoria Park Multi-Family Sale as well as the along with a slew of others. Good luck hunting!

• Why Go: The Henry Moses pool opens for the season on Saturday! In case you forgot over the long off-season, the pool features 26-feet high orange and blue water slides, as well as two separate pools, a  9,000-square-foot leisure pool and a 3,300-square-foot, six-lane lap pool. Keep an eye on that weather though, Saturday's forecast is calling for showers.
