Where/When: , 419 South 2nd Street, from 8-11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday (open mic on Thursday from 7:30-10 p.m.)

Why Go: Live music with no cover, right in downtown Renton! Enjoy beer or wine with dinner or small plates. All 'tips' are donated to charitable organizations. .

Pricing: Free + cost of food and drinks

Where/When: , Saturday, July 30 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.

Why Go: How often do you get to see these guys practice at the VMAC? About 20,000 people are expected to flood into Renton on Saturday, so register for the camp now. Parking is not available at the VMAC or surrounding neighborhoods, and all camp registrants must park at Shopping Center in Renton.

Where/When: 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Sat, July 16 at The Landing in Renton.

Why Go: Looking to get a little jazz out of your weekend? Be sure to check out the Jazz in July concert going on this Saturday at The Landing in Renton. Local jazz Vocalist Bethany Smith Staelens will be performing. will host the beer and wine garden.
