  • Why Go: Help downtown Renton get ready for the on May 7. Join other volunteers as they do everything from pulling weeds to covering graffiti. All ages welcome. Read more about the project on .

  • Where/When: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Sat, April 23 at the .
  • Why Go: The“Maps: the Nature of Change” exhibit has been on display at the Carco Theatre for the past couple weeks. Now, it's time to meet the artist behind these unique and stunning pieces. If you haven't had a chance to see the exhibit, be sure to check out the Cass Nevada website, or read about the artist in an  on Patch.
  • Price: Free.

 

  • Where/When: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sat, April 23 at the .
  • Why Go: Love garage sale shopping, but hate driving from sale to sale following those cardboard "garage sale" signs? You're in luck, because City of Renton has organized a Community Garage Sale. This Saturday you'll only need to type one address into that GPS of yours, the Renton Community Center. Come and browse nick-nack after nick-nack and hopefully walk away with a treasure.
  • Price: Admission is free.

 

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sat, April 23 at Lake Boren Park in Newcastle.
  • Why Go: Come celebrate Earth Day in Newcastle. Pick up some tips from the informative mini-educational seminars. Browse the vendor booths featuring green products and services. Mr. Scrappy Recycling will even be on-site to help you with your metal and appliance recycling needs. 
  • Price: Admission is free.

 

  • Where/When: 10 p.m. - 2 a.m. Sat, April 23 at Munchbar in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: If rubbing shoulders with celebrities is on your to do list, make Muchbar in Bellevue your destination this Saturday night. Munchbar will be throwing Carmen Electra a birthday celebration all night long. 
  • Pricing: $10 cover (includes your 1st drink ticket) 21+ w/ID.
