Ten thousand bicyclists from around the world made their way through Renton early Saturday on their way to Portland as part of the Cascade Bicycle Club Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic.

Riders came into the West Hill area on Rainier Avenue and were assisted by the Renton Police Department at major intersections turning west to Southwest 7th Street then south on Oakesdale Avenue Southwest into Kent.

The 202.5-mile bicycle ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest with some completing the entire course in one day. one or two days.

The start was in the north parking lot of Husky Stadium and finishes at Holladay Park.
