Top Volunteer Stacey Krynsky Gifts $5,000 to Renton's Childhaven

Stacey Krynsky, manager of the Capitol Hill Umpqua Bank store, was recently named Umpqua’s Volunteer of the Year for her work with the Renton nonprofit Childhaven and presented a $5,000 donation to the nonprofit as part of her award.

Childhaven, located in Renton, is dedicated to forever ending the cycle of child abuse and neglect by healing its youngest victims and giving at-risk children a safe place to go. Stacey is an inspiration to many in her community and fellow associates and has given back to Childhaven in numerous ways – from putting together beds and gathering toys, to coordinating events and securing more than 40 volunteers who invested an additional 210 hours with the organization.

Stacey’s volunteer work with Childhaven has been supported through Umpqua’s Connect Volunteer Network program – which provides associates with up to 40 hours annually to give back and volunteer at organizations in their communities. To date, Umpqua associates have invested nearly 300,000 hours of volunteerism throughout the communities they serve.
