The crash closed one block of Logan Avenue South for more than an hour Wednesday morning. As of the publishing of this article, the road is still closed for investigation.

Walt’s Auto Car Manager, Bob Turner, has seen plenty of accidents at this intersection where cars have crashed into the tan building on the corner and into the sub shop.

Jim Dawson didn’t hear the impact, but he couldn’t ignore the sirens.

“I avoid that intersection unless I’m going straight down to The Landing,” he said.

Dawson owns the building just across the street, at 58 Logan Avenue South that holds his business,

Industrial Systems Laboratory, and Jamie Dawson’s business Creative Arts Counciling.

Jamie Dawson agrees that Airport and Logan is “a pretty dangerous intersection. People blow through the light at 40 mph and the poor sub shop gets hit at least once or twice a year.
