An Amber Alert has been issued for three Washington children: Kali Drakeford, a 9-year-old Marysville girl; her younger brother, Ashton, age 8; and their younger sister Cursten, age 6.

Marysville Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating the following vehicle: 1998 Silver Pontiac Grand AM WA LIC plate #AGJ-9693, which police believe their parents, Ashley Todd and Curtis Drakeford, are using to unlawfully transport the children to South Carolina. No pictures of the children were available as of this morning.

CPS received a call yesterday, June 12 from a relative of the family in South Carolina advising them that Kali Drakeford's Mother had called advising she and the Father were taking the juveniles to South Carolina, which would be in violation of custody. CPS made numerous attempts to locate the family without success, and determined that they are absconding to deny CPS custody of the children.

CPS is concerned for the children's safety due to an investigation of their father striking the children with his fists in 2010. He was also charged in 2010 with molestation of young children from another relationship. CPS is also concerned that the children are in danger due to a history of domestic violence between the parents; they both have mutual restraining orders, which have been served.
